In 1984 the Céspedes brothers founded the company AGRIMARES, S.L. This is the third generation of a family dedicated to the production of all types of natural sausage casings.

The family tradition in this line of business dates back to the 1930s, when Manuel Céspedes, the grandfather of the current partners, founded one of the first companies making natural sausage casings in Spain.

AGRIMARES, S.L. currently forms part of a group of companies located in several countries around the world: AGRIMARES as the parent firm in Spain, INSUBAN in Chile and ESB in Brazil.

Initially, AGRIMARES, S.L. produced and commercialised sausage casings for the European market. At present, due to their strategic locations, the group’s three companies produce and commercialise both sausage casings and by-products for the entire world market.
